The warm September sun shines, we just had breakfast and a little rest, and it’s time to drop in to the beauty kingdom. We go to the Alion hotel’s spa, to relax for a few hours and rejuvenate ourselves.

First we get acquainted with the spa: in this cosy beauty centre you can get all the services you need: beauty treatments for the face and body, hair removal, nail services, and there is also a stylist and makeup artist. The professionals hereuse world-famous treatments by high quality brands such as Gernétic, Gatineau, Germain De Capuccini and Bernard Cassière.

There is also a Fitness studio, which is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, offering everything you need for training or relaxation: a heated indoor pool, a gym with the latest equipment, a sauna, a steam room and a Jacuzzi.

We were pleased to find that the cost of the on-site spa was quite attractive.

Our choice was to stop for the Half Day Getaway (2,5 hours – 150 euros) and to also have an additional head massage (20 minutes – 30 euros).

The «Half Day Getaway» package offers a range of treatments, which include a manicure and pedicure, a firming and relaxing facial with honey, and a massage.

So we placed ourselves in the hands of the spa’s experienced professionals and our immersion in the world of beauty begins. It does not make sense to describe in too much detail the manicure and pedicure procedures, but we note that these were of the highest level and the quality of their work is perfect.

After that comes the turn of the honey miracle: beauty treatments for the face. This cosmetic massage using honey gives you a sense of well-being and helps the skin retain elasticity. After the procedure you just feel like your skin is filled with radiance, softened, becomes soft as peach. Any wrinkles are smoothed, and bags and circles under the eyes seem to disappear by themselves.

Finally, we go for the back massage: if your day was busy and you want to relax completely (for example, after a long excursion or a long walk), this is exactly what you need. The skilled hands of a professional massage therapist, will allow you to quickly recover and be ready for an active evening pastime.

Even if you are not a hotel guest, you should definitely spend a day here: before the procedures, you can go to the sauna or the steam bath to relax your muscles as much as possible, then enjoy the excellent service, and also enjoy a swim in the pool afterwards. Believe me, you will leave the SPA like a bird which spreads its wings!
